About The Position

ECS is currently ranked #66 in Engineering News-Record's Top 500 Design Firms (April 2025), #144 in Engineering News-Record's Top 200 Environmental Firms (October 2024) and #50 in Zweig Group's Hot Firm List (June 2025). We are seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer to provide consulting services for the built environment. This includes specialized building enclosure and/or structural testing, building enclosure and/or structural consulting, forensic investigations, property condition assessments, and design of repairs to existing structures. The ideal candidate will exhibit high levels of professional responsibility, organization, reliability, and self-motivation. Responsibilities also include project management, preparing technical plans and specifications for construction, and participating in business development activities to develop positive client relationships. Additionally, the candidate will manage and mentor younger staff on projects and participate with local and regional professional and industry organizations, while promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE.

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering. Master's Degree preferred
• 6+ years of relevant experience providing consulting services described above, including successful project management responsibilities
• Talented in verbal and written communications
• Strong analytical and demonstrable problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse interdisciplinary team environment
• Ability to manage client expectations in a fast paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
