About The Position

Walker Consultants is excited to offer a Structural Restoration Engineering Internship in our Atlanta office! In this role, you'll play a part in shaping the success of our projects by supporting our engineers with structural design, restoration, and forensic work. The contributions you make, from assisting with calculations to supporting field investigations, will help our team deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to our clients. Requirements

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering.
Strong foundation in structural analysis and design principles.
Interest in restoration, forensics, and problem-solving within the built environment.
Excellent communication, writing, and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist project engineers with structural analysis, calculations, and design tasks.
Support field investigations, site visits, and condition assessments of existing structures.
Help prepare drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineers on restoration, forensic, and design projects.
Gain exposure to industry software, standards, and best practices.
Contribute to real projects that impact communities and clients.
