About The Position

We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer or Project Manager in Training who is motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn. In this role, you'll take on increasing responsibility, expand your technical and leadership skills, and play a key role in shaping innovative structural solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
At least three years of relevant structural engineering experience, demonstrating strong technical and organizational abilities.
PE license preferred, or a clear commitment to pursuing licensure with support from KPFF's professional development programs.
Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with ETABS, RAM, RISA 3D, SAP2000, SAFE, or other structural analysis and design software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Take ownership of design tasks, analysis, and documentation while working on or managing engineering projects appropriate to your experience level.
Work closely with architects, owners, and contractors to ensure successful outcomes.
Apply engineering knowledge and creative problem-solving to deliver practical, innovative designs.
Learn from senior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Train and support entry level engineering to assist them in developing their career.
Contribute to projects that shape the community, from commercial developments to public facilities.
