In the role of Structural Intern, we'll count on you to: Learn how structural engineering contributes to the success of complex, interdisciplinary projects. Gain hand-on structural engineering experience working on exciting projects at both the local and global scale. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Perform assignments under the guidance and supervision of experienced engineers. Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures and support project teams with analysis, modeling, and design documentation. Connect with peers and leaders through mentoring and young professional development programs.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Completion of (or current enrollment in) coursework covering structural analysis and the design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures
  • Familiarity with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RISA, or Revit Structure
  • Strong interest in architectural design, high-performance buildings, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Local candidates preferred
