Requirements

3+ years of structural fitting experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Proficient in cutting with oxy-fuel torch
Experience in industrial or commercial construction settings
Knowledge of fabrication and assembly techniques
Valid photo ID and ability to pass background check
Reliable transportation to Rio Grande Valley job sites
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to use measuring tools and equipment accurately

Nice To Haves

Experience in petrochemical, energy, or industrial construction projects
OSHA safety training or certifications
Experience working on fabrication or module construction projects
Familiarity with rigging and material handling equipment
Experience with layout and template work
Pipe fitting experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills

Responsibilities

Fit and align structural steel components according to specifications and blueprints
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Perform cutting operations using oxy-fuel torch equipment
Measure, mark, and layout work pieces for fabrication and assembly
Position and secure structural components for welding operations
Use hand and power tools to prepare materials for fitting and assembly
Verify dimensions and alignment using measuring instruments
Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the job site
Work collaboratively with welders, supervisors, and project teams
Maintain quality standards throughout fitting operations
