About The Position

Riley Power group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company headquartered in Pinehurst, NC. We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction and maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring skilled Structural Fitters in multiple sites in the US. Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent preferred
Must have 5 or more years of Fitting/Fabrication experience.
Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.
Must be able to pass Physical Agility Test
Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to other medical, psychological, background and substance abuse screening(s).
Must be a citizen of the US, its possessions or territories, or lawful permanent resident as defined by USC 1101(a)(20), or protected individual as defined by USC 1324b(a)(3)
RPG participates in the eVerify program.

Responsibilities

Must be able to read, interpret, plan, and execute from drawings and procedures.
Must be able to measure, cut, grind, fit, and align parts. Tack weld is preferred, but not required.
Must have strong math skills and good mechanical aptitude.
Fitter must be able to build in place all interior structures, hatches, doors, bulkheads to complete all the steel work in the ship.
Must be able to apply their skills in the shops, platens, dry-docks and onboard ships in support of new construction, ship repair and ship overhauls.
Requires occasional heaving lifting up to 75lbs 15-20 times during an 8-to-12-hour shift.
Requires standing and walking for extended periods during an 8 to 12-hour shift.
Requires occasional bending from waist, crouching, kneeling crawling periodically during an 8-to-12- hour shift.
Requires occasional climbing ladders up to 25 feet at a time.
Requires occasional working in confined space work environment with the potential of extreme temperature exposure, chemical exposure, and radiation exposure during an 8-to-12-hour shift.
