About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to be based in Columbus, OH. This is an entry level position responsible for assisting more experienced staff with the design of major building projects across the United States (projects to have construction costs of up to $750M). Potential projects come from a wide variety of industry sectors including healthcare, aviation, industrial, parking structures, and higher education. Structural engineer will work collaboratively with more experienced engineers on large projects while developing the skills to lead/work independently on smaller structural design projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Degree emphasis on structural studies.
• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design
• Coordinate work with other design disciplines and prepare contract documents
• Construction administration
• Author structural reports, assessments, and studies
• Develop project management experience such as scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, etc.
