  • Provide administrative and operations support.
  • Prepare material for reports and permit applications, gathering information and/or preparing work progression documents and graphic presentations.
  • Prepare assigned sections of reports working under the review of a more experienced professional.
  • Collect and analyze data using established procedures and participate in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.
  • Participate in conducting on-site engineering investigations.
  • Travel to other states may be required, on occasion. Travel to client sites for investigations up to 50%.
  • Assist Senior Engineers in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
  • Participate on projects involving construction activities by reviewing shop drawings for conformance with specifications; assist in recordkeeping and in generating progress reports; observe construction procedures and collect samples for quality control testing.
  • Develop engineering calculations under the supervision of senior structural engineers.
  • Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
  • Must have completed 60 hours towards a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Fall 2026).
  • A focus in structures is preferred.
  • 0-2 Years experience in a related technical field.
  • Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
  • Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
