AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Bridges and Civil Structures Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Denver, CO. AtkinsRéalis is one of the world’s most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies. AtkinsRéalis has been providing infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, urban planning, architecture, and program management services to public and private clients across the United States for more than 50 years. AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.

  • Design and develop plans and drawings, which may include the development of preliminary layout and/or final drawings.
  • Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions.
  • Develop engineering calculations under the supervision of senior structural engineers.
  • Provide administrative and operations support to Structures Engineering staff.
  • Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
  • Assist engineers with Structures plan production tasks.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related technical field.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited college/university or a M.S. in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Math skills to perform calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and structural design software.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred).
  • E.I. or E.I.T. professional registration.
