About The Position

We are seeking an entry-level Structural Project Engineer with a focus on structural design. This position offers a great opportunity to join a growing consulting engineering firm and contribute to exciting projects in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis (ABET Accredited) or graduating within 6 months.
• EIT certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Plans to become a licensed PE.
• Familiarity with codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and work ethic.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools (RISA, EnerCalc).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to participate in site visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing structural design plans and details.
• Produce drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Review specifications and conduct design calculations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare reports.
• Support construction activities, including RFIs and submittals.
• Use structural engineering software for analysis.
