About The Position

RIZZO International, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis and design for various types of civil structures for our corporate Pittsburgh, PA office.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years practical experience in structural analysis and design.
• Proficient with ANSYS, ducting design, and seismic analysis.
• E.I.T. required, PE License is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with seismic time history analysis.
• Experience with seismic response spectrum analysis.
• Experience with harmonic response & random vibration analysis.
• Experience with pushover analysis.
• Familiarity with various structural software such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, and Revit Structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various types of civil structures.
• Conduct linear/non-linear structural analysis with static and dynamic systems.
• Design steel, reinforced concrete, and precast concrete structures.
• Ensure compliance with various design codes and standards.
• Utilize structural software for analysis and design.
