The Role We have an immediate opportunity for Structural Engineer for our Restoration & Renewal Practice. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in structural design, structural repair, renovation, retrofit design, demolition, and/or property loss consulting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Familiary with structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RAM, RISA-3D, etc.) and BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).
Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
Experience with existing buildings for renovations and expansions is a plus.
Exposure to archaic or obsolete building systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Completing structural analysis and repair rehabilitation design of concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and other structural systems.
Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other consultants including Architects and other Engineering disciplines, Cost Consultants, and Contractors.
Preparing deliverables such as construction drawings, narratives, reports, and specifications.
Reviewing contractor submittals and shop drawings.
Performing on-site work and communicating with contractors, owners, and clients
Projects will be in structural repair, renovation, demolition, restoration and expansion of existing buildings and other structures.
