Tectonic is seeking a Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to contribute to the planning, design, and inspection of various structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of structural engineering principles, bridge design, and a passion for transportation infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to advance their career in the A/E/C industry while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Perform detailed structural analysis and design for a variety of structural engineering projects, including bridges
Prepare design calculations, construction documents, and specifications
Assist in preparing cost estimates, schedules, and project proposals
Participate in site investigations, inspections, and condition assessments of existing bridges
Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
Assist in the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and design reviews
Work with multi-disciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, etc.) to complete complex projects
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and guidelines
All related duties as required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
Certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering; bridge design experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in structural analysis software
Strong knowledge of materials, load analysis, and design principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits and inspections
