About The Position

We are seeking a Structural Engineer for a remote assignment out of Cincinnati, Ohio. The selected candidate will perform a variety of engineering work in the design phase of equipment, systems and/or processes. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm This position can work remotely This position requires a Professional Engineer License (PE) This position requires advanced proficiency with STAAD Pro

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• A Professional Engineer License (PE)
• 4+ years experience in engineering design of building structural systems
• Advanced proficiency in STAAD Pro
• A solid working knowledge of building and structural codes
• Working knowledge of Revit

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations of structural systems (hand calculations, computer aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling analysis (STAAD Pro)
• Assist in the creation of contract drawings via drawing input to structural designers
• Maintain effective communication with department members, higher management and clients
