We assist attorneys, property managers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, and design professionals with a wide range of engineering and architectural issues. The Role We have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer Intern for our Forensics Practice. This is for a full-time internship role beginning in summer 2026.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in civil/structural engineering.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD programs (i.e. AutoCAD).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with any of the following programs is a plus, but is not required: Revit, Bluebeam, and SAP2000.

Responsibilities

  • On-site inspections and investigations including surveying and documenting observations, photography, and sketching.
  • Assist in preparing field notes.
  • Assist engineering team in preparing technical and investigative reports to support forensics findings and prepare materials related to presentations.
  • Assist engineering team in structural analysis and repair rehabilitation design of concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and other structural systems.
  • Review and research applicable building codes, and other applicable industry standards.
  • Assist the engineering team in preparation of drawings and specifications, and construction administration services.
