We are seeking to fill an Intern - Analysis Engineering roles for Summer 2026 at our West Palm Beach, FL site. Summer internships will start in approximately May/June and end in August/September. Projects may focus on areas of analysis including Structures & Dynamics (S&D) or Aero-Thermal-Fluids (ATF). Tasks will vary but may include setup and operation of various finite element based structural analysis simulations to determine the loads, deflections and stresses/strains in propulsion system components or performing thermal or fluid dynamics analysis of liquid rocket propulsion systems and components, all under closer supervision of senior engineering staff.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or similar program).
  • Returning to school upon completion of the assignment.

Nice To Haves

  • Junior standing or above; graduate students preferred.
  • Solid academic track record of accomplishment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership & teamwork skills.
  • Coursework in Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Material Science, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Finite Element Methods.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operation of various finite element based structural analysis simulations.
  • Determine the loads, deflections and stresses/strains in propulsion system components.
  • Perform thermal or fluid dynamics analysis of liquid rocket propulsion systems and components.
