About The Position

The Structural Engineer in Training (EIT)’s primary role will include structural analysis and design for facilities supporting new construction and rehabilitations/renovations in collaboration with a team of local architects, civil, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection engineers. Duties will include interpretation of building codes and standards, preparation of structural plans and details, and related construction observations for these structural projects. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in civil engineering with structural coursework emphasis.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training, having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Computer programming experience in Mathcad.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, STAAD, SAP, or Enercalc.
• Experience with review of structural construction.
• Experience with preparing plans, specifications, and design calculations.
