About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer III to join our team in Cleveland, United States. In this senior-level position, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing complex structural engineering projects for various types of buildings and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Proficiency in advanced structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA
  • Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Strong skills in finite element analysis and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Experience with various building materials including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
  • In-depth understanding of building codes, standards, and seismic design principles
  • Proven experience in project leadership and team management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • LEED AP certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with project management software and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Perform advanced structural analysis and design calculations for complex structures
  • Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team
  • Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and standards
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
  • Utilize advanced structural analysis software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and innovative structural engineering practices
