About The Position

The Structural Engineer III role involves providing engineering and consulting services across various projects and sectors, including public works, commercial, theme entertainment, energy, and industrial. The position requires leading engineering analyses, developing plans and specifications, and ensuring compliance with design standards. The engineer will also mentor less experienced colleagues and engage in business development activities.

Requirements

• Professional Engineering Licensure (or ready to obtain within 6 months).
• In-depth understanding of engineering principles and structural design practices.
• Expertise in building fundamentals and design codes such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI.
• Proficiency in structural programs like SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA, AutoCAD, and REVIT.
• Strong technical skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to create Excel spreadsheets and use mathematical software (Mathcad) for calculations.
• General understanding of construction practices and principles.

• Experience in business development and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering services and professional engineering sign and sealing.
• Support business development through customer relationship management and presentations.
• Coordinate and prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Administer construction by reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
• Lead project-specific meetings to discuss design, scope, and schedules.
• Research and resolve design and construction problems.
• Communicate complex engineering issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
