Requirements

  • Minimum BSCE/BSAE from an ABET Accredited Engineering Program.
  • Professional Licensed Engineer.

Nice To Haves

  • MSCE Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small client/client team (1-2 staff) on small projects or portions of a large project.
  • Utilize experience and education in structural analysis and design using concrete, steel, wood, cold formed steel, and masonry.
  • Apply structural software programs such as RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, RAM Element, and RAM Concept to project design.
  • Work independently on several projects under the direct supervision of the Engineer of Record (EOR) or project structural engineer.
  • Collaborate with Structural Engineer and/or Structural Design Lead to communicate with clients and deliver completed construction documents.
  • Assist in construction administration as required for most project types.
  • Train employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and respond to technical questions regarding AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Perform quality control of projects for final review by Engineer of Record.
  • Establish project budgets with Structural Design Lead and work within those budgets.
  • Edit specifications on small to medium projects.
