Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-12 years of experience in structural engineering design.
• Engineer in training (EIT) preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD, ETABS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze structural designs for buildings and other structures, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Work closely with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural systems into overall project designs.
• Ensure all structural designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve structural engineering issues and challenges, providing innovative and practical solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in structural engineering techniques, materials, and best practices to enhance project design and outcomes.
