We’re looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Architectural Engineering team at our Wichita location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include schools, churches, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, and other commercial and industrial projects.

Assist with the design and production of detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, and site observation reports.
Complete structural calculations with different design materials, specifically with steel and concrete.
Assist in the selection of the appropriate building materials.
Prepare and assist with project proposals, interviews, and client presentations.
Attend client meetings to ensure the design meets their needs and objectives.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to production staff.

B.S. in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
3-6 years of relevant experience.
PE license in Kansas is preferred (or on track to obtain a PE license).
Familiar with Structural Drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Proficient in Structural Analysis software (RISA, STAAD, Enercalc, etc.).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks.
Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required.
Ability to work under pressure, be self-directed, exhibit good business judgment, and handle confidential information appropriately.
Compliance with MKEC and client drug/alcohol and safety programs.
