Structural Engineer Co-Op/Intern Working with the Sr. Engineer and site operations teams, you will support the structural asset health program through inspection, evaluation, and design. The engineer will provide field support to construction and maintenance teams to promote effective and efficient execution of repairs and modifications to structures in the minerals and concentrate plants. Term September 8 to December 19, 2025 Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week on site. 4/10 schedule.

  • On site structural inspection, analysis, design of solutions to support site maintenance
  • Inspection report reviews, prepare drawings & technical documents
  • Structural database management
  • Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors
  • Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment
  • Adhering to Mosaic's mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies
  • Second year or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • For Louisiana ONLY: TWIC Card or ability to get a TWIC card
  • 2.75 GPA or higher
  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred
  • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Experience working in a team environment is a must
  • Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable
  • Effective verbal communication skills is a plus
