About The Position

Progress Container, a TRG company and affiliate of Schwarz Partners is currently seeking a Structural Designer to support our Winder, GA facility! The Structural Designer will develop conceptual and structural solutions for customer – specific to P.O.P Display & retail markets. The Royal Group’s mission is to provide value-added solutions to the most demanding customers.

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma / Five years’ experience in drafting or related field.
• Artios CAD / CAPE.
• Decent typing & strong communication skills. Clear writing & good grammar.
• Ability to connect 2D & 3D.
• Proficiency with most standard industry software programs: Artios / Adobe / Microsoft office; preferred.
• Excellent time management skills & crisis management; preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree / Five years’ experience in corrugated design.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge & expertise to work directly with customer and/or sales at conceptual phase.
• Develop concepts and ultimately fully finished CADs for full scope of display delivery to customer.
• Work closely with production & Fulfillment to revise projects for maximum efficiency.
• Make recommendations to maximize sales, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide support to rest of team members where needed – mockups, sample cutting, general lab duties.
• Accompany Sales Reps on occasion for present new products or designs to customers or prospects.
• Provide support with production art when needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
