About The Position
AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Structural Estimator for ongoing and future construction projects in the Dallas, TX area. The role involves developing proficiency in the use of the Company estimating systems and processes, recognizing and applying estimating terminology, measures, concepts, and principles for compiling all types of estimates. The estimator will assist in analyzing and using estimates to predict key project issues, prepare and coordinate full project estimates, and provide complete conceptual and final estimating input. Responsibilities include understanding construction means, methods, and sequences, preparing the Estimate Plan, conducting independent evaluations, and developing wage rate build-ups. The estimator will also read and interpret drawings, specifications, Requests-for-Proposals, and contracts, develop detailed material take-offs, cash flow schedules, and prepare subcontract bid analysis.
