About The Position

Allied Concrete is seeking an experienced Structural Concrete Foreman to perform direct supervision of our concrete team in Belgrade, MT. We are looking for a Structural Concrete Foreman with experience in the following: NOTE: These duties listed are meant to describe the general scope of the work. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs within the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in commercial concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of concrete materials, methods, and tools.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
  • Valid motor vehicle license.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays on an as-needed basis.
  • Ability to work on construction projects in both standard and high-risk areas.
  • Construction site work environment – will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of layout and execution of individual work on the project site.
  • Ensures all craft work conforms to contract requirements.
  • Translates general work requirements and prioritizes crews, materials, and equipment.
  • Organizes and maintains work crews to maximize production and efficiency.
  • Identifies, verifies, and reports any scheduling conflicts with contractors.
  • Evaluate the quality of concrete work to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Identify and address any issues or defects in the concrete construction process.
  • Implement quality control measures to prevent errors and ensure high standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control inspections.
  • Prepares daily time sheets for all supervised personnel.
  • Understand and acknowledge the importance and legal liability of the role.
  • Knows and understands the requirements of and liabilities under OSHA.
