Structural CAD Operator
About The Position
Our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida (FL) office is looking for a Structural CAD Operator with 3+ years of experience to join our structures team. Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for structural design/drafting assignments requiring working knowledge of structural design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques in building structural, site structural, water control structures, waterfront structural, and heavy structural elements in concrete, masonry, steel, and wood.
Requirements
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- An Associate's degree in Design or Drafting or certificate
- At least 3 years of previous experience designing/drafting structural system.
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.
Responsibilities
- structural design/drafting assignments requiring working knowledge of structural design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques in building structural, site structural, water control structures, waterfront structural, and heavy structural elements in concrete, masonry, steel, and wood.
- Lead the model development and structural plans for water control structures, waste/wastewater facilities, seawalls, civil structures, parking structures, buildings, transit stations, and miscellaneous structural plans (preliminary and final) based on project requirements and client standards.
- Making revisions to plans based on redlined mark-ups
- Generating plans using Revit, AutoCAD, and other platforms as required by the client
- Coordinating with the structural design engineer and design team members to produce construction documents and exhibits.
