Structural/Bridge Fabricator

We are seeking a reliable individual for a position as a Structural/Bridge Fabricator to join a dedicated and hard-working team in Wilton Campus AISC Certified Fabrication Shop. M-F (6:30AM-3:00PM Shift). The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in cutting and fabricating structural steel and bridge components according to specifications. Carpentry and/or Electrical experience a plus. You will play a key role in supporting our construction and fabrication operations, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and safety requirements. Requirements
- 6-10 years of fabrication experience (Structural Steel/Bridge)
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Experience operating fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Welding certifications (AWS, or equivalent) are an asset
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and procedures
- OSHA 10 certificate preferred (Employer will provide training access if needed)
- Must pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Cut, fit, and weld steel components using FCAW, Mig and Stick welding techniques
- Fabricate structural steel components using various tools and machinery
- Perform layout work and ensure proper measurements and alignments
- Inspect welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment safely (where applicable)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
