Requirements

• Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Structural Engineering) is required
• Previous internship experience preferred
• Experience using CADD (Microstation or AutoCAD preferred)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction)
• Designing a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other ancillary structures)
• Development of contract plans
• Preparation of engineer's estimates and construction specifications
• Performing construction support services
