Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
- 6+ years of structural design of bridges experience per FDOT standards
- PE License
- Working knowledge of MicroStation
- Ability to develop details, drawings, and plan sheets in MicroStation preferred
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design programs preferred
- Experience with OpenBridge Modeler and Designer software preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead design/prepare plans, estimates and specifications for bridges
- Perform structural analysis/design with a focus on Florida Highway and Tollway structures
- Review shop drawings
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Inspect bridges and highway structures
