About The Position

Structural BIM Technician (Remote) Job Summary: Our team is seeking a Structural Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician for full-time employment. Applicants should be purpose-driven and indicate a strong interest in developing production proficiencies and standards in Revit.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience with Revit required
Minimum 5 years' experience with concrete, wood, steel and light gauge building structures preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
Ability to problem-solve and collaborate on innovative solutions
Ability to work in team environment
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected level of quality

Responsibilities

Executes the assigned structural modeling tasks
Develops sheet views of plans, details and notes from the Revit model
Maintains awareness of the production schedule for responsible task(s)
Reviews completed tasks at key intervals for accuracy and completeness
Assists with the development of internal drafting standards, including Revit families
Assists in communicating with other disciplines and project team members to ensure overall project coordination
Participates in team and company-wide meetings to discuss project issues, coordination with other disciplines and technical issues
Performs work in a manner that demonstrates an appreciation for the firm’s cultural values, including a commitment to quality, innovation, learning and respect for co-workers and colleagues
Becomes skilled in fostering and maintaining a collaborative professional working relationship with the project team
Fosters awareness of the firm’s principles of providing outstanding professional service to our clients.
