This is a 10-week internship starting June 8 or 15 and is fully on-site at the listed office location. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with FEA & Mechanical Design background.
  • Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of fundamentals of the strength of materials.
  • Exposure to FEA tools such as ABAQUS and Hypermesh.
  • Python programming and scripting is advantageous.
  • Very good communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in teams.
  • Work experience in the process industry is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in solving the mechanical design problems related to high temperature applications using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
  • Validate the simulations using hand calculations for sanity checks.
  • Understand how to setup and solve non-linear FE analysis problems using ABAQUS and Hypermesh tools.
