About The Position

Structural Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Test Operations and Engineering (TO&E) team is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Instrumentation Installation Design group in Berkeley, Missouri . BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior level Structural Analysis Engineers. Position Responsibilities Include:

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 5+ years of experience working with stress analysis/structural analysis
  • 5+ years of experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

Nice To Haves

  • Level 4: 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Masters of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • Experience with Boeing Analysis Tool (Common Structures Workstation or XSA)
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis Software (FEMAP, Hyperworks, PATRAN/NASTRAN, or ABAQUS)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
  • Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
  • Develop test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
  • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
  • Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort
  • Investigate emerging technologies to develop future product designs to meet projected requirements

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary Pay Range for Experienced level (Level 3): $103,700 - $140,300
  • Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4): $126,650 - $171,350
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
