Space Kinetic is a cleared, venture-backed startup focused on addressing urgent national security priorities. Their goal is to deliver a suite of asymmetric capabilities for space superiority and missile defense leveraging a proprietary electromechanical deployment system, which enables the rapid deployment of low-cost payloads through space without firing a thruster. As a Structural Analysis Engineer Intern, this position will assist in structural analysis model intake and build-out to test correlation and flight readiness, and be a driving force for continuous improvement of the facility. Interns will be provided with training and mentorship that will translate to real-world skills and experiences. Interns will support the Engineering team to help design and build prototypes for Space Kinetic’s core technology to achieve a flight demo within the next 2 years in a fast-paced startup environment. This internship is a paid position with both full and part-time employment opportunities available, with rolling start and end timeframes.
