The Project Manager will lead the implementation of the Strong Foundations Implementation Grant for elementary reading language arts within the district. The primary responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for the district and coordinating all Bluebonnet curriculum-related activities with the approved provider selected from the state vendor list. The Project Manager will ensure the district meets all grant assurances, including appointing a representative committee for the collective learning series, facilitating the Superintendent's/CAO's participation in trainings and approval of the instructional framework, coordinating monthly Communities of Practice meetings with similar districts, and submitting required data and feedback surveys to TEA. Additionally, the Project Manager will manage the grant timeline and ensure the district meets major milestones, such as finalizing the contract with the approved provider by May 2025, training, and implementation of Bluebonnet in K-5 classrooms, and adhering to all curriculum and implementation requirements. The role also involves collaborating with the approved provider to plan and coordinate the collective learning series, training, and implementation of curriculum, serving as the liaison between the district and TEA, monitoring grant expenditures, providing regular updates to district leadership on grant progress, and preparing and submitting all required grant reports and documentation to TEA.
