About The Position
We are seeking a ER Stroke/Chest Pain - Coordinator. Chest Pain Center Coordinator / Stroke Center Coordinator is responsible and accountable directly to the Quality Director. Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
- Team approach to patient care.
- Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.
- Day and evening flexibility required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement and community outreach.
