The Stroke Program Director of the North Market, a multi-campus position, is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Stroke Program at Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital, and Anna Jaques Hospital, leading quality initiatives for patients who experience stroke throughout the continuum of care. Responsible for ensuring the program at all three sites meet the requirements for state designation of stroke accreditation. This individual works collaboratively with the Stroke Program Medical Directors for each hospital in a mutually supportive relationship, which is essential to the success of the program in achieving high-quality, patient-focused outcomes. This position is responsible for directing, evaluating, and providing feedback to professional-level employees who participate in the operation of the Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital and Anna Jaques Hospital Stroke Program. Direct reports include RN Stroke Coordinators and the stroke registry. The Stroke Program Director assumes the day-to-day responsibilities of process and quality improvement activities as they relate to program performance and human resource management, in addition to developing, monitoring, and acting upon clinical, financial, and operational metrics designed to continuously improve service delivery. The Stroke Program Director is an expert who provides leadership for the organization of services and systems necessary for a collaborative approach to stroke care. The Stroke Program Director works closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to medical faculty, clinical staff, regional partners, Telehealth, Marketing, Emergency Medical Services, MedFlight, and others to execute a cohesive plan and maintains open and ongoing communications to ensure a well-coordinated interdisciplinary program of care.

  • Provide leadership for collaborative stroke care services.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Masters degree required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience in stroke care management.
