About The Position

The Stroke Nursing Data Analyst is a key member of the Stroke Program team responsible for supporting clinical operations, quality reporting, and program compliance. This role blends clinical nursing knowledge with data analysis and patient navigation functions. The analyst will review and abstract stroke alert charts from across facilities, maintain accurate records in the database, prepare presentations for performance improvement meetings, and perform patient follow-up calls to capture outcome measures.

Requirements

  • Florida Registered Nurse License
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in stroke, neurology, critical care, or emergency nursing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Experience in data abstraction, quality reporting, or clinical informatics strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of stroke pathways, guidelines, and outcome measures (e.g., modified Rankin Scale, NIHSS).
