About The Position

The NeuroHealth Institute at Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting a Neurohospitalist in north Austin. Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology is preferred. Position Highlights • Join as 1 of 2 Neurohospitalists to provide inpatient neurological care in a community hospital setting, tele-stroke opportunities are available • Work schedule is an average of 7 days on/off (182 shifts/year) with opportunity for extra pay shifts in our telemedicine group. • The regional neurology team is comprised of 8 neurologists, 2 APPs, 3 technologists, nursing, and administrative support staff. • The Neurohospitalist will join a larger collaborative team of Vascular Neurologists and Neurohospitalists who cover stroke and inpatient care needs for the system; currently comprised of 25 physicians. Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
