Stripping Supervisor
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Lead and coordinate aggregate stripping activities to support safe and efficient mining operations. Supervise and support an internal stripping crew, ensuring work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards. Monitor site conditions, identify operational needs, and adjust plans to maintain productivity. Collaborate with plant, mining, and environmental teams to align stripping work with production goals. Maintain accurate records, inspections, and documentation to support compliance and operational planning.
Requirements
- Strong ability to oversee field operations with a focus on safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and develop an internal crew effectively.
- Skill in coordinating multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and adapting to changing operational needs.
- Proficiency in identifying site challenges and applying practical solutions in real time.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across operational and support teams.
