About The Position

Brothers Standard Striping LLC (a.k.a. Standard Striping/Paving & Concrete) has 3 positions available for a full time laborers on our Striping and/or Seal Coating Crews. Reliable transportation is necessary. Salary to be determined based on experience. Federal approved drivers license or ID required as the need may arise to work at government properties.

Responsibilities

• Seal Coating & Striping: Surface Preparation: Light c leaning (sweeping and/or blowing) of dry asphalt surfaces to remove debris.
• Filling cracks with appropriate material if applicable.
• Seal Coating Application: Applying seal coat material using various methods like long-handled squeegees, spray wands, or specialized equipment.
• Striping Application: Use specialized equipment like ride-on striping machines, walk-behind stripers, and sprayers to paint lines and symbols.
• Ensure accurate placement and dimensions of markings to ensure projects are completed on time and to the correct specifications.
• Quality Control: Ensuring even and proper application of the materials.
• Other Duties: Maintaining and cleaning of equipment and tools, following safety protocols and guidelines, w orking as a team, following instructions, communicating effectively, perform other duties as assigned by the foreman, such as assisting crew members.
• Travel & Flexibility: Be available to travel to multiple construction sites within the geographic region and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional and courteous attitude while interacting with peers, contractors, and the general public.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
