About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assisted Stretching Personal Trainer. As a Personal Trainer focused on assisted stretching, you will utilize your expertise and passion to help our members achieve the realization of their health and fitness goals. StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals. StretchLab’s proprietary flexologist ™ training ensures that their clients receive a world class stretching session.

Requirements

Passion for Boutique Fitness: A genuine passion for fitness and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle are important qualities. Candidates should be zealous about helping others achieve their fitness goals and gifted in inspiring and motivating clients.
Experience and Expertise: Demonstrated experience and expertise in one or more of the preferred areas, such as massage therapy, personal training, physical therapy, Pilates, yoga instruction, or dance instruction, is essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the principles and techniques involved in their field and be able to apply them effectively.
Recognized Fitness Degree or Certification: Candidates should possess at least one of the following: (A) current, valid and recognized fitness certification relevant to their area of expertise, such as NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine); or (B) State license or equivalent certifications in massage therapy, personal training, physical therapy, Pilates, yoga instruction, or dance instruction; or (C) a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine or similar bio-mechanical related program.
Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and research is important. Candidates are required to attend and pass our Flexologist Training program, which is a nationally recognized certification program consisting of online pre-work, 2 in person days and 20 hours of hands on practice.
Empathy and Compassion: The ability to empathize with clients and understand their individual needs and challenges is essential. Candidates should be compassionate and patient, adapting their approach to meet the diverse needs and abilities of clients.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial in a boutique fitness setting. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen actively, provide clear instructions, and offer constructive feedback. They should be able to establish rapport with clients and communicate effectively with team members.

They should foster an atmosphere of acceptance, respect, and encouragement, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and supported.
Professionalism: Candidates should demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with clients and colleagues. This includes maintaining appropriate boundaries, respecting confidentiality, being punctual, and upholding high ethical standards.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Working in a start-up environment requires adaptability and flexibility. Candidates should be able to handle multiple responsibilities, adjust to changing circumstances, and be open to learning new techniques and approaches.
Team Player: Working collaboratively with colleagues is crucial in a start-up franchise setting. Candidates should be team players, willing to support and assist others when needed and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities

Utilize your experience and intuition to evaluate and assess clients' needs, goals, and physical capabilities in order to develop personalized stretching programs to meet their specific requirements.
Leverage your compassionate and empowering nature in order to provide personalized, one-on-one, hands-on assisted stretching and guidance to clients, drawing on your deep understanding of human movement and capacity to offer unwavering support while fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Maintain and review detailed client notes both individually and with your flex team in order to ensure outstanding customer service and coaching to ensure that members achieve their desired results and experience the maximum impact of their personalized program.
Communicate effectively with clients, displaying excellent communication skills and empathy to build strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with studio and flex team members to create a holistic approach to client well-being, incorporating your passion & genius into team dynamics and problem-solving.
Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills in stretching techniques, fitness trends, and industry best practices through ongoing education, training and team meetings.
Demonstrate your passion and infectious energy as a team player by actively participating in and enhancing studio membership growth and retention initiatives, such as attending pop-up events, delivering informative studio tours and/or demo stretches, as well as cultivating a vibrant social media presence.
