Stretch Therapist / Movement & Mobility Expert
About The Position
StretchLab Silver Creek is Hiring! We are looking for those who enjoy helping people move more freely and are passionate about building community. Must have current certification in one of the following: Massage or Neuromuscular Therapists, Yoga, Pilates, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapy Aide, Athletic Trainers, NASM, ACE, Kinesiology or Exercise Science Degree or other fitness professionals with current certification. Position: The Flexologist role is to deliver an excellent one-on-one assisted stretch experience as well as run group stretch sessions. You will help clients achieve their flexibility goals to gain more freedom of movement, reduce stress, and increase performance in all facets of their life, including recreational and athletic endeavors.
Requirements
- Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you providing hands-on training with a client
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
- Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
- Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes for up to 6 clients
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through personal interaction and outreach to leads
- Managing client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking the client's weekly recurring appointments
- Assist clients in attaining their flexibility goals and staying on track to achieve freedom of movement.
- Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Maintain all equipment and ensure sanitation protocols are followed for the protection of staff and members
