Stretch Specialist / Practitioner - Athletic Training Background
About The Position
StretchLab is the industry leader in one-on-one assisted stretching, helping clients improve flexibility, reduce pain, and move better in everyday life. Our team delivers a personalized, hands-on experience that supports long-term health and mobility. We are seeking passionate, qualified professionals to join our team as Flexologists. This is a part-time, hands-on role where you will work directly with clients to improve mobility, recovery, and overall wellness. No prior assisted stretching experience is required, as paid training is provided. Stretching is an ancient practice, but StretchLab has redefined what it means to get a stretch. Having someone with years of experience read your body, assess your needs, and ensure you are thoroughly and expertly stretched is an experience like no other. This allows clients to be pushed further than they can push themselves and open up in ways they cannot achieve on their own. Stretching is highly beneficial, and being stretched is key to a longer and healthier life.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a background in fitness, wellness, or movement-based disciplines, including either a degree in a related field (e.g., Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine), a nationally recognized certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA), or current licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist/Assistant, Athletic Trainer, Massage Therapist, Chiropractor, or Yoga/Pilates/Barre instructor
- Must be comfortable with hands-on client interaction
- Must be available for potential evenings and weekends
- Consistent weekly availability required

- Applicants with a strong movement background (such as dance or similar training) may also be considered
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions tailored to each client
- Create a safe, professional, and engaging client experience
- Educate clients on mobility, recovery, and consistency
- Build relationships that drive membership retention and referrals
- Maintain client notes and manage recurring appointments
- Support studio growth through referrals and light sales conversations
- Assist with studio cleanliness and day-to-day operations
