Stretch Practitioner - Full Time
About The Position
Attention Health, Fitness, and Wellness Professionals! Are you passionate about movement, recovery, and helping others perform their best? Whether you're a recent college graduate or an experienced stretch or bodywork practitioner, Stretch Zone is looking for dedicated individuals to join our rapidly growing team! With our patented equipment and proven methodology, we work with the body’s stretch reflex to unlock optimal movement and performance. Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone® Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness. Requirements
- College-level Anatomy & Physiology (BS in Exercise Science or related field preferred)
- Athletic, fitness, or health/wellness background
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Passion for helping others improve their mobility and performance
Nice To Haves
- Certification: ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, NCSF
- personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work
