We are seeking a Stress Engineer Lead to bring their expertise and leadership to our team. This position is critical for ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects and requires a strong passion for leadership and mentorship. As a Lead Engineer, you will assume significant responsibility within the team, serving as a technical expert and the primary point of contact for resolving customer concerns. You will proactively address challenges at every project stage, implement risk mitigation strategies, and support the growth and development of less experienced engineers. In this role, you will collaborate directly with customers to negotiate work package alignment, define roles, responsibilities, and authority, and demonstrate both competence and credibility in the agreed-upon work. Responsibilities include leading in-house aerospace structures design, managing customer BTP MRB repair and disposition tasks, and performing stress and fatigue analysis of primary and secondary airframe structures using methods ranging from hand calculations to advanced FEM/FEA tools.
