About The Position
Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Stress Analyst to add to their growing team located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position involves performing a range of system structural assessments across the full product lifecycle, from new design concepts to in-service operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing forward innovative analytical and experimental solutions to address customer issues, ensuring that whole product mechanical integrity requirements are met. This includes analyzing static, transient, and dynamic loads and responses, which are critical for the performance and safety of the products. As a Stress Analyst, you will engage in system-level structural assessments, including Whole Engine Modeling and both static and dynamic analysis. You will also be involved in experimental test planning and interpretation, particularly focusing on correlating simulation results with experimental data. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will facilitate teamwork across various disciplines such as manufacturing, quality, engineering, and product support. Effective communication of technical and business results through reports and presentations to senior engineers will be a significant part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will participate in technical reviews, Product Safety Reviews, Technical Life Reviews, and Customer Reviews. An active role in the continual improvement of engineering methods and processes is expected, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
