About The Position

The Coordinator of Strength and Conditioning programming is responsible for the leadership, oversight, marketing, programming, and day to day coaching of clients for the cash-based services performed at Village West. The coordinator will provide the most up to date, individualized, and comprehensive coaching to our clients with focus on optimal outcomes. There will be shared responsibility of overall management of the strength and conditioning program and multi-departmental engagement to ensure effective operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or other such degree in the health sciences and 3-5 years experience related work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) OR Preferred Upon Hire
  • USAW Level 1 AND USAW Level 2 through USA Weightlifting Preferred Upon Hire

Responsibilities

  • Provide the most up to date, individualized, and comprehensive coaching to Children?s Mercy clients.
  • Lead program development, marketing, and overall growth of the strength and conditioning programming.
  • Share responsibility for overall management of the strength and conditioning program.
