About the Role/Responsibilities Creating/Increasing WHYY Brand Awareness – Generating excitement through word of-mouth marketing, live brand awareness through direct community engagements. Promotions & Outreach – Distributing programming cards, QR codes, events notices and other WHYY promotional materials in high-traffic areas to raise awareness about WHYY’s memberships, educational programs, events and programming, events and other initiatives. Engaging with the Public – Interacting directly with people to educate them on WHYY’s objective and mission, ensuring a personal touch that digital ads can’t replicate. Driving Attendance, Memberships and Participation – Encouraging people to attend events, sign up for programs, memberships and engage with what WHYY has to offer. Gathering Feedback – Collecting public opinions or insights that can help shape future WHYY campaigns. WHYY Street team staff would serve as the first point of contact between our organization and the public, answering questions, engaging with community members, and providing key information about memberships, events, programming as well as other initiatives.
