About The Position
Street Sweeper Operator Select Sweeping Inc. Fresno, California Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday Select Sweeping Inc. is a locally owned and operated power sweeping company serving Fresno, Kern, and Madera counties since 2018. We provide high-quality street, parking lot, and construction site sweeping services and are known for our reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and environmental responsibility. We are currently seeking an experienced Street Sweeper Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to our clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating street sweeping equipment or similar heavy equipment.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Must be dependable and able to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience performing basic mechanical checks or minor repairs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate street sweeping equipment safely and efficiently on streets, parking lots, construction sites, and other service areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining high-quality sweeping standards.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, dispatch, and customers as needed.
- Identify and report equipment issues, property damage, or safety hazards immediately.
- Follow all company safety policies and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to equipment use and service activities.
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and general shop duties when necessary.
